My works are a visual corridor back to a time when people freely gave one their full attention, without electronic interruption. I prefer to focus on objects that we no longer have the time to notice or appreciate. The works provide a gateway to the past, or a connection to a personal heritage or memory that is uniquely our own. I also strive to acknowledge the artisans who spent much of their lives designing and hand painting them in the distant past. Really... What could be better than a paint brush, north light and a nice cup of tea?
"A tribute to the great porcelain artisans of by gone eras. Each painting reminiscent of a story lurking in the depths of a tea cup."
